Ascendo Resources is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our talent network for current and upcoming opportunities throughout South Florida.

If you’re an AP professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume invoices, and keeping financial processes organized and accurate, we’d love to connect with you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Process and review a high volume of vendor invoices

• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation

• Process payments through checks, ACH, and wires

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Respond to vendor inquiries and payment-related questions

• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation

• Assist with month-end close and reconciliations

• Support 1099 and year-end accounting activities

• Partner with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience

• Experience handling high-volume invoice processing

• Strong Excel and data management skills

• Experience with an ERP or accounting system such as NetSuite, SAP, Great Plains, QuickBooks, or similar

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
