Invoice Audit Specialist 

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Invoice Audit Specialist to review sales contracts, invoices, sales reports, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. This role is ideal for a current college student pursuing an Accounting degree or someone with experience in accounts payable, billing, invoicing, or general accounting support.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable working with numbers and large volumes of data, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and compare sales contracts against invoices, sales reports, and supporting documentation.

• Identify discrepancies, billing errors, variances, and potential underpayments related to contracted services.

• Document audit findings accurately and track discrepancies through resolution.

• Communicate with internal field representatives and other stakeholders to clarify discrepancies and obtain supporting information.

• Maintain organized records and ensure the confidentiality of financial and business information.

• Perform detailed, data-driven reviews while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Candidates with experience in accounts payable, billing, invoicing, data entry, or accounting support are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in financial information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with spreadsheets and large data sets.

• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable, responsive, and able to manage multiple review tasks while maintaining accuracy.
