Construction Payroll Specialist (Certified Payroll Experience)

Location: Bensalem, PA 19020

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000/year

About the Opportunity

Ascendo Resources is currently partnering with a construction client in Bensalem, PA, to identify an experienced Payroll Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with a strong background in union payroll, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reporting.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate and timely weekly payroll processing while supporting payroll compliance and administration for a workforce of approximately 100 employees.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees.
• Handle payroll administration in accordance with union requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain certified payroll reports.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Utilize ADP and Microsoft Excel to support payroll processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Previous experience handling union payroll.
• Working knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and certified payroll.
• Experience with ADP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet payroll deadlines.
