Seeking a billing specalist to join our team!

The working hours for this role are from  9-6:30 onwards, and the position is entirely remote after the first 90 days of training. 

Details about the role:

The selected individual will collaborate directly with our Sales Representatives, functioning as their primary customer service support. While the primary responsibility involves supporting Sales Reps, occasional customer calls may be expected. Proficiency in handling call queues is advantageous. Essential qualifications include prior experience in billing, maintaining professionalism, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responding to customer requests via phone, email, and fax for invoice copies, statement copies, proof of deliveries, and other essential information facilitating customer payments.
  2. Collaborating with relevant departments to resolve invoice discrepancies related to pricing, product, shipping, or duplicate billings.
  3. Demonstrating the ability to follow through on issues, make informed decisions in compliance with policies and procedures, complete tasks, and engage in effective problem-solving.
  4. Detailed documentation of account notes and follow-up information regarding billing and invoicing status.
    • Approximately 90% of the role involves email communication, explaining complex billing issues to both internal and occasional external contacts.
    • Resolving billing discrepancies requires research into backup data, including billing notes and purchase orders, analyzing details for billing accuracy, and effectively communicating any issues, with necessary follow-up.
  5. Possessing intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
    • Comfort with Excel report creation, daily review, and management.
    • Experience with SAP is considered a plus.

Candidates should be professional, capable of clear and confident communication, and maintain a friendly demeanor. The ability to manage call queues and previous billing experience are critical for success in this role.
