Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.

General Accounting & Compliance

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare tax filings, audits, and regulatory reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and proficiency in Excel.
• Analytical Abilities: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
