Data Entry Associate (This role is temporary, and will continue until November of 2025)

We are currently seeking a Temporary Data Entry Associate for a short-term opportunity within a dynamic corporate setting. This is an excellent role for an entry-level candidate eager to gain exposure to vendor management, data integrity, and corporate operations.

In this position, you’ll support a large-scale vendor data verification project. A third-party firm has been engaged to validate all historical vendor data, and the company is transitioning from check payments to ACH. Your focus will be on maintaining clean, accurate records to ensure smooth payment processing — this role does not involve invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update vendor listings across various ERP systems.

• Review new vendor and change request forms for accuracy and completeness.

• Call vendors to verify and confirm key information, including W-9 and banking details.

• Forward verified ACH data to the Accounts Payable Manager for payment processing.

• Partner with internal departments such as Purchasing and IT for vendor approval workflows and ERP testing.

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, vendor maintenance, or data entry preferred.

• Comfortable with making phone calls and handling confidential information with care.
