We are urgently seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our General Ledger team. This early-career role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a blend of accounting knowledge and advanced technical skills to oversee billing and collections analysis. The Analyst will validate, analyze, and report on critical AR data to ensure accuracy and drive insights. This position offers significant growth potential within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Validation: Analyze and validate billing and collections data from multiple in-house systems and NetSuite, identifying discrepancies, errors, or trends to ensure data integrity.
• Billing Analysis: Support the AR team by reviewing billing outputs for 32 brands, reconciling data across disparate systems, and flagging inconsistencies for resolution.
• Collections Reporting: Develop and maintain collections reports, including aging analyses, payment variance summaries, and cash flow projections, to support timely decision-making.
• System Oversight: Monitor data flows between systems, collaborating with IT to troubleshoot integration issues, EDI errors, or automation bottlenecks.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, automate repetitive tasks, or enhance reporting tools to improve AR efficiency.
• Reporting & Insights: Create actionable dashboards and reports for the AR Director and General Ledger team, translating complex data into clear insights for leadership.
• Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with billing, collections, IT, and finance teams to resolve data-related issues and ensure alignment across 32 brand accounts.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with special projects, such as system upgrades, data migrations, or audit support, leveraging analytical skills to solve complex challenges.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, accounting, or a related field, with exposure to AR, billing, or collections processes. Early-career candidates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, V/X-lookups, macros) for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and familiarity with multi-system environments.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or programming (e.g., SQL, Python) is a strong plus.
• Comfort troubleshooting system integrations or EDI issues alongside IT teams.
• Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of General Ledger functions, billing cycles, and collections processes. Familiarity with reconciliations or variance analysis is a plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to dissect complex datasets, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights with meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the AR Director and cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple systems and priorities, with a proactive approach to learning new tools and processes.
• Location: Preference for Knoxville, TN-based candidates for in-person collaboration; hybrid or remote options considered for those with proven self-discipline and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Excel, SQL, or data analytics) are a plus but not required.
