Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to various areas of accounting in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.

  • Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.

  • Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and reports.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

  • Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

  • Internship or public accounting experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, formulas).

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) preferred.

  • Familiarity with GAAP and general accounting principles.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
