Client Data Associate (Hybrid – Louisville, KY)
Overview
A global leader in financial market infrastructure solutions is seeking a Client Data Associate to join its Static/Reference Data team on a 9-month contract. This hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced financial services environment, supporting operational data accuracy and client account maintenance. Ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to grow in financial services.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update customer account records, including billing, confirmations, brokerage rates, and trader details

Support the full account lifecycle, including account openings, modifications, and closures

Research and resolve trade breaks and settlement issues caused by incorrect data setup

Ensure timely resolution of issues impacting P&L or settlement timelines

Create and maintain process documentation and procedural manuals

Provide after-hours or weekend support for system testing, as needed

Adhere to internal controls and escalation procedures while delivering progress updates to management
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred

Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; macros a plus)

1+ year of office or data-related experience; financial services experience a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with multiple departments

High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure

Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Preferred Qualifications

2–5 years of financial services experience

Familiarity with new account processes, corporate hierarchies, and settlement instructions

Understanding of financial products and trade life cycles

Project management experience

Series 99 license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
