Accounts Payable Specialist - Fort Lauderdale (On-Site)

We're recruiting on behalf of a law firm in Fort Lauderdale seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone organized, accurate, and comfortable in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Key Details

• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

   

• Status: Non-exempt/hourly

   

• Reports to: Office Manager; partners with Controller/CSO

   

• Start: ASAP (offer contingent on background check)

   

• Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

   

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle AP, vendor setup, W-9/1099 compliance

   

• Expense reimbursements, semi-monthly check runs (15th & 25th), ad-hoc checks

   

• Statement reviews (no pay-from-statement), reconciliations, invoice resolution

   

Requirements

• 2+ years AP experience

   

• Strong Excel skills

   

• High accuracy and organization

   

• Professional services/legal experience a plus
