Senior Benefits Analyst / Benefits Analyst II Pay Range: $20–$24 per hour Schedule: Hybrid
An established organization is seeking a skilled Senior Benefits Analyst to support and enhance benefits systems and processes. This role focuses on optimizing benefit administration platforms and the HCM system through a combination of benefits knowledge and HRIS expertise. The analyst will contribute to planning, analysis, and delivery of the company’s benefits program and will report directly to the Director of Benefits.
Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for benefits administration and system configuration, including data requirements, data conversions, and setup within Benefitfocus and Oracle HCM.

Gather, document, and configure system requirements; test and validate processes for implementations and system enhancements.

Partner with internal teams to collect necessary data and ensure alignment with business needs.

Perform financial reporting and analysis related to the benefits program.

Conduct quality assurance on data files, payroll-related benefits data, and absence-related changes or conversions.

Research and resolve benefits-related data discrepancies and escalated issues.

Implement process improvements to prevent recurring data issues and strengthen data accuracy.

Collaborate with HRIS to support business requirements, data needs, and data conversion activities.

Participate in testing for new implementations, updates, and future configuration changes.

Configure HR systems to support employee benefits enrollment and ongoing administration.

Ensure internal and third-party systems maintain accurate benefits data.

Respond to routine and complex benefits-related system inquiries.
Qualifications

Intermediate Excel skills required; advanced skills preferred.

3–5 years of analytical experience, preferably within HRIS or benefits administration.

Experience with HRM platforms such as Benefitfocus, Oracle HCM, UKG, and ADP.

Strong documentation, auditing, and diagnostic testing skills.

Ability to work with large datasets and database tools.

Experience with process improvement and operational excellence.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize urgent tasks.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
