About the Role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Claims Adjuster to join our Claims Administration team in Jacksonville, FL. This role plays a critical part in our claims process, working closely with customers, vehicle inspectors, and repair facilities to evaluate mechanical failures and determine coverage under service contracts. If you have hands-on automotive experience and a passion for customer service, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify claim information to determine if the customer’s concern, diagnosis, and failure justify repair approval under the service contract.

  • Evaluate repair costs to ensure they meet industry standards.

  • Communicate with customers, agents, and dealers to complete thorough claim investigations.

  • Ensure claims are processed according to company policies and procedures.

  • Contribute to team efforts and participate in projects, reports, and documentation as assigned.

  • Complete fair and timely settlements of claims.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with at least 2 years of college or equivalent education/experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnosis experience.

  • 1–2 years of claims processing experience preferred but not required.

  • ASE Certification preferred (current or previous).

  • Familiarity with parts and labor guides and intermediate knowledge of Windows-based programs.

  • Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze technical procedures and solve practical problems in varied situations.

  • Spanish fluency/Bilingual is a plus.

  • Ability to adhere to a posted schedule.
