Salary: $130k - $140k + Benefits

Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining information technology systems, assisting the IT Director with researching, and implementing technological strategic solutions. Also responsible for developing and monitoring practices to ensure that the company’s information is secure from unauthorized access, protected from inappropriate alteration, physically secure, and available to authorized users in a timely fashion. The IT Infrastructure Manager must monitor and assess the current IT environment and will be assisting with system administration and network communications related tasks. Additionally, he will supervise the members of the Service Desk and be the last layer of escalation prior to escalating to the IT Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible managing team members of the Service Desk and Infrastructure along with system and network administration of the company’s network infrastructure and enforcement of the Information Security Program which includes information security policies and procedures in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all the organization customer information. Specific activities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, maintain Server system environment on an infrastructure basis (Disk, memory, CPU, and storage).
  • Manage, design, and account for – plan augmentation of company’s virtualization environment.
  • Research required information using available resources to resolve issues.
  • Ensure RTO and RPO are met to comply with data backup policies.
  • Manage, maintain the monitoring system for all servers and network devices.
  • Support the network infrastructure and ensure compliance with patch management and overall system availability.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to IT Director in a timely manner.
  • Assist IT Director as needed on network and security concerns, e.g. ensuring systems are hardened by maintaining patching of all pc’s on the network.
  • Follow standard processes and procedures.
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensure that personnel have uninterrupted access to critical information in the event of a power outage, natural or manmade disaster, or other disruption.
  • Assist IT Director with incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches.
  • Work with IT Director as appropriate for independent GLBA, Information Technology, Information and Cybersecurity audits.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in security risks, security measures, and computer systems.
  • Manager teams of the Service Desk and Infrastructure ensuring their performance aligns to company goals.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
  • five to ten years in a Systems/Network Manager role
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2016
  • VMware knowledge and Veeam backup software a must
  • Basic to mid-level experience with Cisco Networking
  • MCSA/MCSE, MCITP, NET+, VCP (VMware), CCNA certifications.
  • Must have good critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and multitask when necessary.
  • Analytical thinker with technical aptitude.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change.
