Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist – Residential Property Management
Pay: $75,000 – $85,000
Status: Temp-to-Hire
Location: 100% On-Site

 

A residential property management company is seeking a Temp-to-Hire Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong Yardi skills and hands-on experience with tenant ledgers, rent posting, and subsidy payments. This role is fully on-site and requires someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting a busy accounting team.


Responsibilities

  • Post rent payments, credits, and adjustments in Yardi

  • Reconcile bank accounts and security deposits monthly

  • Process move-outs, renewals, and subsidy documentation

  • Generate delinquency and AR aging reports

  • Track Section 8/subsidy payment suspensions and coordinate updates

  • Assist residents with ledger-related questions

  • Provide documentation to attorneys as needed

  • Assist with year-end audit preparation

  • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2–4 years accounting or AR experience

  • Strong Yardi proficiency required

  • Experience with tax-credit/affordable housing programs is helpful

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Clear, professional communication
