Audit Senior Associate / Audit Supervisor

A respected mid-sized public accounting firm is seeking Audit Senior Associates and Audit Supervisors to join its assurance practice. The Role
In this position, you will take an active leadership role on audit engagements, managing assignments from planning through completion. You will apply strong analytical and organizational skills while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firm’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and fieldwork
- Perform and oversee audit procedures across key financial statement areas such as cash, receivables, payables, and fixed assets
- Prepare and review financial statements, audit documentation, and related reports
- Research, analyze, and communicate accounting and auditing matters and emerging guidance
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and interns
- Collaborate with managers and firm leadership to ensure effective engagement execution
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and service
- Participate in professional networking and business development activities
- Travel up to approximately 15%, based on client needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA eligibility
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities effectively
- Strong analytical, research, and audit project management skills
- Demonstrated interest and ability in coaching, training, and mentoring others
- Commitment to ongoing professional education and development
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong dedication to professional standards and client service excellence
