Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full AR cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collection of payments, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in accounting processes and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and track invoices to clients or customers accurately and timely

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances

• Apply customer payments and adjustments to accounts in the accounting system

• Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledgers to the general ledger

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, or customer inquiries

• Generate reports on AR status, collections, and outstanding balances for management

• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve account issues

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes

• Support month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting

• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), and enhance cash flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
