The Opportunity

This is a net-new, foundational opportunity for an early-career AutoCAD Civil 3D Designer eager to grow with a mission-driven real estate development firm. In this role, you will partner closely with an outsourced civil engineering team, supporting concept development, visualization, and early-stage design documentation.

As the company builds its internal design capabilities, this position will expand in scope and ownership—offering a clear path to increased responsibility and long-term career growth.

You will contribute directly to the planning and design of master-planned communities, helping shape environments that balance aesthetics, functionality, and constructability, and ultimately influence how residents experience everyday living.

What You’ll Do

Design & Documentation

• Develop community master plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, supporting residential layouts, circulation, open space, and amenity planning
• Create 3D renderings and visualizations that bring neighborhood concepts and lifestyle experiences to life
• Support construction documentation, including site plans, grading concepts, and utility layouts for internal review and external coordination

Collaboration & Coordination

• Partner closely with an outsourced civil engineering firm to:
• Prepare and refine concepts prior to formal handoff
• Review, redline, and quality-check third-party drawings
• Incorporate feedback while maintaining drawing accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with internal development, planning, and leadership teams to align design intent with project and business objectives

Growth & Ownership

• Gradually take on increased responsibility for internal drawings and design coordination
• Help establish internal standards, workflows, and best practices for in-house civil design support
• Progress into a more senior design role as the company continues to scale
