Operations Support Coordinator

Position Summary

The Operations Support Coordinator serves as the first line of support for high-priority and critical operational issues. This role provides guidance and support to internal partners, independent contractors, and customers while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and uses sound judgment to resolve complex and escalated situations efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls and emails to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Document and track service-related issues through internal reporting systems
  • Investigate operational issues to determine root causes and facilitate resolution
  • Mediate service-related disputes between stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Provide guidance and education on operational best practices and company procedures
  • Follow established corrective action processes and document resolution plans when needed
  • Process and approve adjustments or corrections in accordance with company guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and performance standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of administrative or customer support experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while multitasking across systems
  • Basic geographic knowledge of North America
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Team-oriented mindset with openness to feedback
