Senior Accountant

Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid - 4 Days On-Site)
Salary: Up to $90,000

A growing consumer products company is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join its lean finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle and wants broad exposure to inventory, operations, treasury, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Support inventory, landed cost, freight, and accrual accounting
• Reconcile ERP inventory, AP, and financial data
• Support cash forecasting and reporting
• Help improve accounting processes and controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-7 years of accounting experience
• Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Inventory accounting experience preferred
• Experience with BlueCherry, Dynamics SL, or similar ERP systems is a plus

Ideal Background

• Experience working in a small or growing company environment ($50M or less preferred)
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats across AP, AR, close, and reporting
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive
