The ideal candidate will hold a degree and have experience supporting Finance and Accounting departments. Prior Accounts Payable experience is essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist with all aspects of the A/P process, including entering AP vouchers and mailing payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of bills and payroll in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Compare purchase orders, prices, payment terms, and other charges.
- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors, resolving open balances and providing payment information.
- Post AP-related cash transactions from daily banking activity.
- Manage accounts payable using accounting software such as QuickBooks and other programs.
- Process transactions and perform accounting tasks, including account maintenance, entry recording, and reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end closing and other assigned duties.
- Process an average of 250+ invoices per week.
- Handle heavy reconciliations.

**Desired Skills & Experience:**

- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Accounting ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and focused.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Proactive self-starter comfortable with independent work.
