Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our client's dynamic legal team in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, with at least 5 years of experience handling complex commercial disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, representing businesses in a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, business torts, corporate governance issues, and shareholder disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on litigation risks, case strategy, and possible outcomes.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitrations, advocating on their behalf and negotiating favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to build strong cases for clients.
  • Maintain client relationships, providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the litigation process.
  • Assist in the development of legal strategies to protect clients' business interests.
  • Stay updated on developments in Florida commercial law and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of handling complex commercial cases from inception to resolution.
  • Strong experience in discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal concepts to clients and courts.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to assess and resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
