We’re partnering with a well-established institution that is seeking an experienced IT Systems Operator to support critical technology operations within an AS400 environment. This hybrid role is based in Coral Gables and requires professionals who are fluent in both Spanish and English to support cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage system jobs, queues, and activity on AS400 platforms

• Perform backups and validate data integrity across system libraries and files

• Troubleshoot and escalate operational issues using system logs and messages

• Maintain operational documentation and ensure adherence to procedures

• Coordinate with internal tech teams and third-party vendors to resolve system-related concerns

• Configure and support devices, printers, and user output controls

• Assist with general IT support tasks, including equipment handling and daily mail distribution

• Provide professional and responsive support to internal users and staff

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in IT systems operations or computer room environments

• Familiarity with AS400 or similar systems and job control functions

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Clear and professional communication skills in both Spanish and English

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

• Comfortable with flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends if needed

• Previous experience in a banking or financial institution environment is a plus
