We are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist, whho will be under direction of the Payroll Manager, is responsible for preparing and processing biweekly payrolls as well as reporting activities, such as preparing biweekly and month-end reports.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Process biweekly payroll to include entering payroll information, verifying payroll changes and reviewing timecards
  • · Perform pre and post payroll audits for accuracy
  • · Create payroll funding documentation
  • · Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting for management. Include but not limited to:
  • · Payroll reports - ongoing YTD wage and tax analysis, headcount reporting, new hire reporting, labor reporting
  • · Prepare check requests & send funding information to Treasury Dept
  • · Year-end reporting of payroll earnings and deduction totals
  • · Prepares special reports and analyses, participate in projects, and perform other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager or designee

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • · Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree in related field required
  • · Extensive knowledge and experience in Timekeeping rules and procedures, garnishments, payroll taxes, and multistate payroll processing
  • · Payroll experience in a production environment
  • · 5+ yrs payroll and Timekeeping experience with UKG and Workforce Management (Dimensions) required
  • · Responsible for payrolls of 1,000+ employees
  • · Experience with multi-state, multi-jurisdictional payrolls across multiple companies
  • · Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • · Proven ability to take initiative with assigned tasks, projects
  • · Shared Services experience
  • · Process change experience
  • · Detail oriented
  • · Strong organizational skills
  • · Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks
  • · Strong communication skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • · Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, etc...)
  • · Exposure to Expatriates (employees working outside of their home country) helpful, but not required
  • · Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
  • · American Payroll Association (APA) member a plus
