6-MONTH CONTRACT

Join a dedicated operations team responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of key banking processes. This role supports back-office operations related to loan and deposit accounts, ACH transactions, and general ledger activities. You'll ensure timely processing, resolve discrepancies, and support internal teams—all while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain loan and deposit account data with precision and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and reconcile ACH transactions, handling exceptions and daily postings.
• Investigate check discrepancies and resolve non-posted transactions.
• Provide responsive support to internal account officers to resolve operational issues.
• Manage manual processing tasks in account and fee maintenance platforms.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and manage interest rate adjustments.
• Perform payment processing and resolve related discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct daily/monthly general ledger reconciliations and post manual journal entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years in banking operations or back-office roles; familiarity with account maintenance, ACH/check processing, reconciliations, and GL management.
• Proficiency with banking systems (e.g., Jack Henry AS400) and intermediate Excel/Word skills.
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and excellent internal communication skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and a collaborative, professional approach.
