Senior Accountant

Location: Jacksonville Beach, FL

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our collaborative, multi-entity accounting team. This is a hands-on role managing core accounting functions while providing an opportunity for growth into an Accounting Supervisor position. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, adaptable, and eager to take ownership of financial operations in a visible, high-impact role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Oversee and execute General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities across multiple entities.

  • Payroll Processing: Learn and manage payroll through ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Process Improvement: Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.

  • Leadership Readiness: Demonstrate the ability to manage accounting staff and lead financial operations in preparation for advancement into an Accounting Supervisor role.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

  • Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong GL, AP, and AR knowledge.

  • Management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with ADP is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
