A global hospitality and entertainment company is seeking a Project Accounting Manager to join their team! This is a hybrid role in Queens, NY with an annual salary of $120,000-$140,000.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Track and monitor project budgets, job costs, and contract compliance
• Experienced with ProCore
• Plus: Familiarity with NY State sales and use tax regulations

Responsibilities:

• Monitor project budgets, job costs, and contract compliance to ensure financial accuracy
• Maintain detailed job cost records and support monthly WIP reporting
• Review subcontractor invoices and verify union compliance documentation
• Collaborate with project managers to reconcile cost variances and refine budget forecasts
• Evaluate AIA G702/G703 applications for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
• Confirm subcontractor billings align with approved scopes, budgets, and funding requirements
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation for financial and regulatory reviews
• Coordinate with compliance, procurement, and subcontractors on certification and reporting requirements
• Support preparation of financial statements and project cost reports for management and external stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and applicable state and local financial regulations
