Senior Accountant

Location: Miami, FL
Job Type: Full-Time

A growing organization in Miami is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role will work closely with the accounting team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain the general ledger

• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules

• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests

• Analyze variances and assist with ad hoc reporting and projects

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 4+ years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations

• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• CPA or CPA-track

• Experience in a mid-size or large corporate environment
