We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support the company’s accounting operations with a strong focus on general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end close. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and will work closely with the accounting leadership team. Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP

• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations

• Perform and support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Investigate and resolve reconciling items and variances in a timely manner

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reports

• Support internal and external audits, including providing schedules and documentation

• Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP&A teams to ensure proper accounting treatment

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced controls

• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong hands-on experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations

• Solid understanding of US GAAP

• Prior experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting preferred

• CPA or CPA-track a plus
