The Inventory & Purchasing Associate will work closely with finance and operations leadership to coordinate the timely procurement of materials and manage vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent inventory flow and supporting overall operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with purchasing processes, inventory control, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Procure raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies based on production forecasts and inventory levels

Create, issue, and manage purchase orders; track deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment

Reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation

Maintain accurate vendor, pricing, and product information within purchasing and inventory systems

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure favorable pricing and service levels

Resolve discrepancies related to orders, shipments, or invoices

Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure purchasing aligns with budget and inventory needs

Support inventory tracking and control initiatives to minimize disruptions

Maintain organized documentation for audit and reporting purposes
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Associate degree with relevant experience considered)

2–4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management

Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing preferred

Proficiency in ERP or purchasing systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
