ob Title: Staff Accountant

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing healthcare organization in Miami. This full-time, in-office role will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and assist with monthly close and reporting in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Perform account reconciliations (bank, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets)

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Assist with budgeting and variance analysis

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulatory requirements

• Support external audits and provide requested documentation

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred)

• Strong understanding of GAAP

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or similar ERP)

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Ability to work full-time on-site in Miami
