Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and reconciling vendor accounts. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including coding, data entry, and payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and 1099 reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Assist in month-end closing and accruals related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
