Payroll Specialist (Bilingual)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

Job Summary:
A well-established company is seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join its team in Miami (Medley). This role requires strong mathematical and analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to process payroll accurately within two months of training. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll efficiently and accurately within established timelines.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (including VLOOKUPs, IF statements, complex formulas, COUNTIFs, conditional formatting, and pivot tables).
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish in a business setting.
• Maintain payroll records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with employees, vendors, and external organizations.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks with strong initiative and attention to detail.
• Follow procedures, exercise independent judgment, and make sound decisions.
• Be available for extended hours, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong mathematical and logical reasoning skills (including algebraic expressions).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of payroll experience in a mid-to-large-sized company.
• Knowledge of State and Federal payroll guidelines.
• Experience with ADP, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, or Publisher.
