Job Title: Credit Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:40 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Credit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness, processing credit applications, monitoring account activity, and assisting with the resolution of past-due accounts. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all credit-related activities.
Key Responsibilities

Review and assess credit applications using established guidelines.

Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine risk.

Monitor and manage customer credit limits and payment terms.

Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with clients regarding payment issues.

Work with internal departments to resolve billing or account discrepancies.

Prepare credit reports and maintain accurate records of credit decisions.

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Communicate professionally with customers to negotiate payment arrangements, as needed.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with accounting or ERP software a plus.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
