Purpose of the Role:

You will be responsible for global lease accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with ASC 842 and maintaining the accuracy of facility, vehicle, and equipment lease data across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Lease Accounting & Compliance

• Lead and maintain lease documentation and schedules.

• Ensure compliance with ASC 842, including lease classification and accounting for complex modifications.

• Own monthly/quarterly/annual close processes for leases (journal entries, reconciliations, etc.).

System & Data Management

• Oversee lease data entry and maintenance in the lease accounting system.

• Validate lease schedules for accuracy and compliance.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Real Estate, Fleet, Legal, and FP&A to ensure contracts are correctly reflected in financials.

• Act as the SME for interpreting lease terms and accounting implications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 5+ years of related experience (corporate or public accounting).

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 842.
