We are seeking a Senior Grants Manager for a growing nonprofit organization focused on empowering communities through affordable housing, social services, and economic development initiatives.

This is a hybrid opportunity in Brooklyn, NY, with a salary of up to $130,000.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of financial management experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency with accounting ERPs

Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership, support and performance management to direct reports
• Building budgets and overseeing the preparation and submission of budget modifications to funding agencies
• Onboarding of new contracts and amendments
• Preparing assigned vouchers for funding sources; review vouchers and billing documents prepared by billing staff
• Reviewing general ledgers and planning for necessary journal entries accordingly
• Working closely with the payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and accounting teams to ensure billing related reporting accuracy; ensure that identified billing issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Reviewing monthly grant performance
