We are recruiting for a law firm located in the heart of Wilmington, North Carolina. Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with a strong background in insurance litigation.  Experience with homeowner property insurance litigation is preferred. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases in a collegial and well-appointed office setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in insurance litigation matters, including coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and defense of insureds.
  • Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery through trial and appeal.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to develop case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.

Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on insurance-related cases.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service.
