Position Overview:

Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Case Manager with experience in Personal Injury and Pre-Litigation to join a dynamic and growing law firm in Coconut Grove. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including file management, discovery, scheduling, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with handling first-party property insurance litigation cases from intake through trial or settlement

• Draft, edit, and file legal documents including complaints, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses

• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other court-related schedules

• Maintain case files, docket deadlines, and correspondence using case management software

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and insurance adjusters

• Perform legal research and compile case law or documentation as requested

• Assist with trial prep including exhibit binders, witness lists, and trial notebooks

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of legal case management or injury claims role

• Strong understanding of Florida court rules and litigation procedures

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal case management software is a plus

• Bilingual is a plus
