Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience in accounting and is skilled in financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end close processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial records, compliance with regulations, and supporting internal financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Manage month-end and year-end close activities in accordance with established timelines.

Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reports for management.

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards (GAAP), internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate historical data and variance analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain and update fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and related entries.

Stay current on best practices and changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).

Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.

Compensation:

Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
