Job Summary:
This position is responsible for generating new insurance leads, providing sales support and responding to a high volume of leads from marketing campaigns and client relationships.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering effective sales presentations in person and virtually
- Proactively following up on leads, as well as procuring new leads to generate business.
- Setting realistic expectations and timelines for customers
- Educating clients on different types of insurance coverage and making recommendations based on their needs
- Evaluating current insurance policies and recommending additional coverage when needed
- Maintaining confidentiality with all insurance documents and client information.
- Networking with potential clients and promoting the business.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Regularly meet key performance sales, retention and quality metrics
- Ability to travel to meetings and conventions quarterly.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Able to learn and sell an expansive line of products on a national level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities licensure required.
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous sales experience
- Experience quoting multiple lines of insurance.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior insurance sales experience
- Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty License
