Our esteemed client in Morris County, NJ is seeking a Restaurant Manager (or Assistant General Manager) to help lead daily operations, elevate guest experiences, and support the growth of a high-performing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure a consistently outstanding guest experience through leadership and attention to detail
  • Oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maximize operational efficiency and profitability, including labor, food, and inventory cost management
  • Recruit, train, and develop hourly staff and junior managers to build a high-performance culture
  • Execute smooth and efficient shifts with clear communication and accountability
  • Support scheduling, inventory management, and opening/closing duties
  • Partner with the General Manager to uphold brand standards and meet business goals
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless and memorable guest journey

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in full-service dining
  • Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and hold teams accountable to high standards
  • Working knowledge of scheduling, inventory systems, and cost controls
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service and developing others
