Our esteemed client in Mahwah, New Jersey are seeking a passionate and results-driven Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of their daily operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who is motivated to develop staff, maintain high operational standards, and drive both revenue and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, high-quality food, and outstanding customer service.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team to create a warm, welcoming, and productive environment for both guests and employees
- Maintain and exceed revenue, profitability, and quality goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Foster a friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy meals while celebrating, working, or socializing.
- Hire, train, and develop team members to achieve personal growth and excellent service standards.
- Collaborate with the community to drive local brand awareness and build sales.
- Engage with guests and team members to build lasting relationships and loyalty.
- Analyze and act on financial and operational performance metrics.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in fast-casual or full-service, high-volume restaurants.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to commute up to 25-30 miles each way to/from the work location.
- Able to work approximately 50 hours per week across rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Genuine passion for teamwork, hospitality, and guest experience.
- Creative mindset with a desire to engage the local community and grow the business.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively handle multiple tasks.
