Our client, a leader in the consumer product industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their growing team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full receivables cycle, driving timely collections, and strengthening relationships with both customers and vendors. Your background in AR, team leadership, and industry experience will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial operations and long-term success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections

  • Supervise and mentor a team of AR professionals, providing training, direction, and performance support

  • Develop and enforce credit policies and collection strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce delinquency

  • Analyze aging reports and collection data, reporting trends and risks to senior leadership

  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve billing discrepancies and improve client satisfaction

  • Prepare monthly AR performance reports, highlighting KPIs, DSO, and collection status

  • Stay current with industry best practices and compliance standards

  • Cultivate strong client relationships throughout the collection and dispute resolution process

  • Assist with additional finance projects or tasks as assigned by leadership

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of AR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Background in the beverage industry preferred

  • Familiarity with Encompass (route accounting software) is a strong plus

  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

  • Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills

  • Proven ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
