Our esteemed client in Franklin County, PA is seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Systems Business Analyst to join our Information Systems team. Reporting directly to the Lead Business Systems Analyst, this role will play a critical part in driving business process improvement, supporting system development initiatives, and ensuring efficient application support. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, analytical thinker with exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of manufacturing business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Recommend and implement solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals.
- Partner with the Lead Business Systems Analyst to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into functional and system design specifications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support business units in areas of responsibility.
- Design and execute test plans; assist in user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Lead small to mid-sized projects from inception through implementation following IS standards.
- Provide end-user support for custom and third-party applications across all manufacturing business functions.
- Ensure project documentation complies with SOX requirements and internal standards.
- Meet or exceed internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology OR High School Diploma with 13+ years of relevant IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in requirements gathering, system/process design, testing, and support.
- Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., Baan, e-Emphasys) including integration with external systems.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Strong project management skills (Agile and Waterfall) with experience leading projects >$50,000.
- Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and application controls.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with dashboards, workforce analytics, and data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in application lifecycle management and systems documentation.
