We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of a growing logistics and transportation company. This contract role is responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting with month-end close, and supporting daily accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Staff Accountant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software or ERP/CRM systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to Doral, FL
